2009 ALCS - The Lights are on in the Bronx; Greatest 2000s Team?

As the first inning of the 2009 ALCS is underway, the Angles have had the Yankees' number the last few years. Due to much spending in the offseason, the Yanks may have the pitching staff this year to come out on top. Big Carsten Charles "CC" Sabathia takes the mound in Game 1 to try and give the Bronx Bombers an early advantage. Prediction: Yanks in 6.

The Yankees were certainly the greatest MLB of the '90s. Which teams will fight for the title of greatest MLB team of the 2000s?

I want to be put on the record as hating the Yankees. The only redeeming aspect of the Yankees was Don Mattingly's mustache.

So my prediction for the American League penant was correct. Yanks won the series in 6 games. The road ahead isn't any easier. The Yankess will face tougher pitching in the World Series. The Phillies are sending Cliff Lee to the mound for game 1 Wednesday night in NY. Lee has been on an absolute tear this post-season. On the flip side, the Phillies will be facing tougher pitching as well, compared to their previous playoff opponents. Taking the mound for the Yankees Wednesday night is big CC.
Prediction: Yanks in seven.
