As Magic and Isiah's front-page hissy fit continues, a new NBA season is before us. Preseason games are in full swing. Will Ron Artest punch his new teammate, Kobe Bryant, during a game? Will Shaq tweet at the foul line? What will be the most interesting storylines of the upcoming NBA season?

Thus far the storyline is King James telling Terrell Pryor how to deal with being in the spotlight. Other than that, I'm really looking forward to seeing the chemistry, if any, between LeBron and Kazaam. We'll see how it starts to shake out as the beginning of the season nears.
I'm beginning to wonder if all of the off-season gossip and non-basketball stuff that has been happening will carry over once the season begins. The Dirk Nowitzki drama, the replacement refs, and Michael Beasley's drug-related (now possibly alcohol-related) issues seemed to dominate the NBA headlines this summer. However, I really just want to see some basketball being played at the highest level.
